Welcome to Carroll Manor Elementary School
Our School Mission: We will incorporate 21st century skills into daily instruction as we provide an academic foundation for globally competitive students. The blended learning environment will promote optimal learning in all content areas within a safe and nurturing setting. Students will have the tools to satisfy not only their intellectual curiosity but meet the challenges of a successful career and a lifetime of improving the society in which they will live.

COMMUNITY: Carroll Manor Elementary School is located in the central administrative area of Baltimore County. The school area primarily serves the children of semi-professional and professional residents. Home sites are predominately single-family dwellings.
SCHOOL: Carroll Manor's academic program provides instruction for students in Kindergarten through grade five. The total enrollment for this year is 335 students. After completing Carroll Manor, students attend Ridgely Middle School, Cockeysville Middle School, or independent schools.
STAFF: In addition to the regular classroom teachers, Carroll Manor has teachers for art, vocal music, library media, instrumental music, and physical education. Enhancing programs and services are provided by the following: media specialist, special education, speech/ language clinician, registered nurse, and paraeducators.
BEFORE AND AFTER SCHOOL CARE: Playcenters, Inc. operates at Carroll Manor Elementary from 7:00am – 9:00am and from 3:00pm – 6:00pm. For more information, call 410-296-4880, ext.100.

AREA RECREATION COUNCIL:
SPECIAL PROGRAMS: Enrichment activities are provided for all students at Carroll Manor. Programs available in addition to the school day include: Spanish program, Writer's Workshop, Chess Club, Sacks of Science, Spelling Aces, 24 Challenge Club, Author Study, Artist in Residence, etc.
SPECIAL ACCOMPLISHMENTS: Parents, teachers and community look forward to several musical performances throughout the year which include band, orchestra, and chorus performances as well as a talent show. Carroll Manor Elementary students are involved in various community service projects throughout the year.
Carroll Manor Elementary School was declared a Maryland Blue Ribbon School in 2003, and achieved National Blue Ribbon status on Sept. 22, 2004
Carroll Manor has a most active, involved, and productive PTA organization. Parents are a critical part of our success. They serve in a variety of capacities to include individual and small group instruction, clerical tasks, public relation efforts, and class coverage for teachers.
